It's Time For Africa

We pulled into Cape Town yesterday to this amazing site.  I am so excited to be back in Africa and especially to be back in Cape Town.  It's an amazing city within the fascinating country of South Africa. 

The only sad part about our arrival was the departure of Archbishop Desmond Tutu.  He has gone back home to be the real world and his family.  Our family on the ship will miss him greatly.  I'm sad that I won't hear his laughter lighting up the dining hall or have the chance to get a fist bump from him in the hallways.  It was truly a blessing to have him on board. 

I can't wait to see what the week has in store for us here.  It's the place where I first professed my love to Kelly and it brings back a sea of great memories.  Now it's time to go and make some more.
