Bark in the Park X2

Dogs + baseball = Good times.

Last night we went up to Durham and went to the Bark in the Park baseball game.  It is probably the best minor league promotion idea ever.  We went to our first Bark in the Park back in 2013 when we only had Libby and had a really good time.  The event has been so popular since that they now do it 3 times a year and many Major League baseball teams have also added it to the schedule.

We did have to buy tickets for each of the dogs but since it's a minor league game tickets are not expensive and the cost goes to back to the sponsor, 2nd chance adoption.  All the 4 legged fans are kept in the outfield sections which has to be a real interesting experience for the outfielders playing in the game.  It must be weird trying to catch a fly ball and hearing dogs barking around you.

The evening was a lot of fun for both us and the dogs.  They absolutely love it really.  They got to hang out with a bunch of other dogs, watch some baseball, eat lots of treats and even sneak a few sips of my unattended beer.  Could you ask for a better life?
