Snack Attack

A few months ago I blogged all about the various snacks we had eaten on our voyage.  Kelly and I are snackers that is for sure.  Since then we have been spending the last of our remaining currency from whatever port we are in on snacks for our cabin or treats during our day excursions.

Here is what we have come across since our wasabi seaweed wraps in China.

My delicious sundae and Kelly's Vietnamese coffee from the Cafe Blue in Saigon.  We had gone there back in 2006 and were hoping to have lunch but settled for these instead to escape the heat.

We picked up a large bag of these prawn crackers in a shop in the Little India section of Singapore.  They did taste fishy but, since there were 15 little bags, we ate them all to keep us going on our day trips.  I would pick something different next time.

We found these in the Scott Market in Yangon.  There were three buns in the package filled with pudding inside.  It seemed weird but we needed a snack and it was cheap.  They were actually pretty good.

A bag of spicy, crispy potato sticks we bought in India.  They were really good and I wish I would have bought more.
I'll admit it, marketing got me on this one.  I just love that they say "Yo! Chicken" and  "BBQ Curry Dude!" on the bag.  The chicken were okay but the bbq curry one's were outstanding.  I've been on a real curry kick lately so they were right up my alley.  It was like a bag of Cheetos only with curry.

How could I pass these up?  Mini-bags of golden graham like crackers only shaped like Simpsons characters.  I got them in a supermarket in Cape Town.  They even came with a free magnet!
Also from the Cape Town supermarket, we got a variety of different kinds of potato chips.  These feta & olive chips need to be shipped to the States and it needs to happen soon.

The last item we picked up in the Cape Town supermarket was a package of feta cheese and crackers.  We also got a package of goat cheese that was herb flavored but we ate it too quick to get a picture.  Both these cheeses were amazing and less $2 each.  They really need to give us bigger refrigerators in our cabins so I could have stoked up.
