There is a major funk going around our ship right now. It’s not uncommon to not see a certain person
for a few days and then I find out they are quarantined for medical reasons.
The most common illness right now is gastrointestinal
issues. Originally we believed it was
just what people ate in Burma but it is now being passed around the ship now
like a baton. And we arrive in India tomorrow so it’s probably only going to get worse.
I’ve been fortunate enough to avoid it so far by hitting up
the sanitizing stations every twenty feet and washing my hands like a neurotic
person. It may not be a bad idea to
start wearing the surgical face masks like they do in Japan.
