I'm not sure if this post is going to work or how it will look, I'm trying to write this entry and post it through the email. It's been a crazy few days. I have been in meetings most of the time and when I'm not I'm trying to remember the names of all the faculty and staff I've been meeting. Thank God for nametags.
The students should arrive in less than an hour! I'm very excited and a bit nervous. Even having sailed before, every voyage is different and offers new challenges and adventures.
We were able to get off the ship in Mexico last night. We went out for a few hours and had a few drinks at a local sports bar/restaurant with a large group of the Resident Directors. Kelly got a margarita and I had a Mexican draft beer that was pretty good. The highlight of the trip was our waiters. They were very entertaining, putting on some wigs and rolling out a fake receipt at the end of the meal that must have been five feet long. It was a fun night.
We are all ready for this grand adventure to begin. We sail in about eight hours. Here we go.
